Karen is thrilled to present her solo production entitled Storybook at Boston University, her first performance on campus. Since college, she's been on a bit of hiatus from performance, having taken a full course load in magazine journalism, and a minor in history. She also hopes to publish her first book entitled Stagestruck in the near future.

No stranger to the stage, Karen has performed in over a dozen musicals. Favorites include the title role in Annie, Rizzo in Grease, Patricia in Crazy for You, Reagle Players Oklahoma! and her favorite show, Children of Eden.

She has also been a soloist in many programs in her hometown including performances with the Canton Community Band, summer and holiday concerts, the Canton/German Exchange program (singing in three languages!) and the Two-Way Street program.

Intent on a professional singing career, Karen studies voice with Claudia Catania (formerly of the voice faculty at BU) in New York City and has also worked with Maureen Brennan (Boston Conservatory) toward her recital.
